COVID-19 Update

Dear Friends

We want to give you this update with our response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We have prayed and sought the Lord on this, met with our leadership team, taken advice from key leaders in the health sector and we are also keeping up-to-date with government guidelines.

Our prayer for everyone of you during this time is that you would be covered by the powerful blood of Jesus, walk free from fear in the leading of the Holy Spirit and take every opportunity to be a beacon of hope, light and strength to those around you. Take courage from these passages at this time:

  • Psalm 91
  • Psalm 20
  • Hebrews 10:38
  • Romans 8:38

  • We continue to pursue the vision and work God has given us, even if some things may look a little different from how we’ve always done them!

All meetings at Revival Fires have been suspended due to government guidelines on social distancing. The building is closed, but we continue to connect as Church in the virtual world!

We want you to be aware of the following:

If you or if anyone in your house is unwell and experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay at home. If you have high temperature and/or a persistent cough we ask you to stay home for a 14 day period. You can connect with us through our “Home Connect” WhatsApp Group where you will have the opportunity to be prayed for over the phone by our Pastoral Team and receive regular encouragement. You can also watch all our meetings by internet streaming by visiting www.revivalfires.tv

We encourage those over 70 years old, anyone with chronic disease or those pregnant, to practise social distancing to avoid any unnecessary exposure or risk. This is in line with the government advice.

Please wash your hands regularly with soap and warm water.

    Please use non-physical greetings.

You can find more on public health website here (click for link).

This is a time of opportunity, so download our outreach card here and be a blessing in whatever way you can while being aware of your own health safety.

We prefer to take card payments over cash at the moment for offerings and bookshop sales, where possible. You can also give online to Revival Fires ministry, on any device, either when you are in a meeting or from home by using this link (click here).

Tithes and Offerings can still be received through our website, www.revivalfires.org.uk/donate/

Additional cleaning with the correct products of frequently used items, including door handles and public surfaces, throughout the building will be done by our cleaning team.

Let’s continue to pray at this time – pray for our government as they lead our nation through this situation and pray that hearts we will be strong and courageous as we get our help from God. Pray that we can share the peace that surpasses understanding with those who are facing fear.

    For Revival!
