India April 2008 First Reports!

Notable miracles are taking place during our meetings at Birpara, NE India. During the first meeting we saw tumours and growths shrink and disappear before our eyes as Trevor laid his hand on them. People in severe pain from kidney stones were totally released from pain.

Then, on Wednesday evening (9 April), Trevor stood up and told the crowd of mostly non-believers that they did not need to get used to their sickness but needed to get released from it! One of the many healing miracles we saw was a man paralysed down the left side, only able to walk with the aid of a stick. After prayer he could freely move his left arm and left leg and did not need his stick anymore! As he went back into the crowd he was literally walking, leaping and praising God! Many more people were healed from paralysis and walked away amazed at the power of God on them.

Thousands of people in the crowd received a healing touch from the Lord Jesus and we know that hundreds were delivered from unclean spirits that were ruining their lives. Ears and eyes were opened, hearing and sight restored, pain and swelling disappeared, the lame walked, respiratory problems removed and breathing restored. Praise God!

As people have heard the gospel of the Kingdom preached, around 10,000 men, women and children ran forward to make a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ!

Sharon Baker

We have some recent pictures for you from the continuing work on Papa's House in Siliguri, NE India. Despite the heavy monsoon rain, flooding in the Dooars area and disruption to telephone and electricity supply, builders are working night and day whenever the rains stop to bring the first floor of Papa's House to completion!

This is the floor where the girls will sleep and have their bathroom areas, and they are very excited to see it progressing. We will be able to take in another twenty five children in this floor.

Benjamin Khati tells us that over the last few days they have experienced real favour with the weather, as the rains have eased and allowed the work to continue much more quickly.

Please pray:

For good weather to allow the next floor of "Papa's House for His Revival Children!" to be completed, and for the safety and protection of everyone around the site as the work continues.

For orphans in the area to be welcomed into Papa's House, and for Benjamin to be able to find those children in greatest need.

For the health of the children, and for healing of their earlier childhood experiences of rejection and abandonment to be replaced with a deep heart knowledge of the Father's love.

New Vehicle!

After several delivery delays, the new four wheel drive vehicle for Revival Fires has been delivered in India! Benjamin and Swapna Khati picked up the vehicle just a couple of weeks ago, and they are thrilled! As well as four wheel drive to cope with the hills around the tea growing areas of Siliguri and access up to Gangtok and the Tibetan border, the new vehicle has air conditioning to help keep our Indian pastors and Revival Children cool as they travel.

Benjamin sent this message to us:

"Thank you so very much to Pastor Trevor and Sharon and to Revival Fires for the new TATA Victa, a wonderful and cool vehicle with full air-condition. It gives us great pleasure to travel. We rejoice and praise God to be your family and co-workers abounding in His perfect Love and Joy as you together proclaim His name to the nations. "It is our continuing desire to serve the Lord with Revival Fires, and we pray that the Lord of the Harvest would open many new doors in 2007 that will be both blessing to Revival Fires and Holy Word Ministries and many others scattered around the world." This vehicle will be a great blessing as they continue the follow-up work from our crusades over the last few years, building relationship with pastors and leaders throughout the tea-growing area of Dooars in India and seeing the fire of revival spread through- out the whole region!

Please pray:

For Benjamin and George as they travel throughout the area, and for pastors and leaders to be touched with the fire of God and filled with the spirit of Revival.

For the gospel to be demonstrated with signs and wonders, and for healing, deliverance and salvation to continue to increase in this region.

For the crusade that will take place in November; for preparation to go smoothly and for thousands to be lastingly touched by the presence of God.

Creflo Dollar Ministries & The Ukraine

It was so great to receive a gift from Creflo Dollar Ministries in order to enhance the projects we are involved with in Ukraine, and also to be able to provide finance to bring pastors over to our conferences here in the UK. The donation will enable Revival Fires to provide travel expenses for key pastors to enable them to visit our UK conferences. It has also provided for new farm equipment, water supply and room improvements at the Grace drug rehabilitation centre in Nikopol, and for partial refurbishment and a new sound desk at Word of Revival Church in Kirovograd. We give thanks to God for all His provision!

Trevor & Sharon Open Papa's House in Siliguri, NE India!

Trevor and Sharon made a wonderful trip to India this month to open Revival Fires Orphanage in Siliguri, NE India. The building work began in the autumn of 2006, and all of the children in the care of Benjamin and Swapna Khati have been watching with great excitement as their new home has taken shape. On 15 May, the ground floor was completed, the orphanage was opened by Trevor and Sharon and the children moved in!

The children were so happy that they were finally able to move in and enjoy the new facilities, which can accommodate twenty-five children. As well as the new building, the children will also be able to enjoy new beds, wardrobes, dining furniture and kitchen equipment. Work has already started on the next floor, which will enable us to take in twenty-five more children from the surrounding area.

We hope in the near future to begin to welcome AIDS orphans into the orphanage. There are so many children with neither parents nor grandparents as AIDS has swept through the villages in this area. These children are passed from relative to relative, or stay in the company of anyone in the village who will take them in for a few short weeks, before they again have to move on.

Revival Fire Orphanage, or "Papa's House" as it will be known to the children who live there, will be a place where children can come and receive provision, friends and hope for the future, and where we can see the presence and love of the Lord Jesus break the spirit of poverty, disease and oppression over their lives, bringing them into a place of abundance and blessing.

Two of the newest children to be welcomed into the orphanage are two young boys who saw their parents and younger sister killed by a fire which engulfed their family home during a Hindu festival. The two boys were themselves badly burned in this tragedy, and we pray that they will find real comfort in the presence of God and His love for them as they join the family at Papa's House.

Encounter weekend

During their visit to India Trevor and Sharon also spent several days in Gangtok, Sikkim, leading an Encounter weekend for over forty senior pastors and leaders from the local area. They had a wonderful time seeing these men and women walking into greater freedom and abundance as each leader identified and stepped out of ungodly mindsets and beliefs, released forgiveness and broke agreement with past hindrances and blockages to receiving God's love.

People were also healed without being prayed for, just by being in the atmosphere of God's presence and freedom. Praise God for his abundant life!

Mission To Cape Town, South Africa, February 2007

Trevor and Sharon and a team of nine people visited four churches in the Cape Town area during February. Here are some highlights!

During a ladies meeting at Father's House, Tygerberg, Sharon spoke about the breakthrough anointing, and many of the women, both young and old stepped into a new place of calling and destiny as they broke out of restrictions that kept them locked up from walking in God's purposes.

At West Coast Vineyard, Vredenberg, many people moved into hearing God's voice and seeing into the supernatural realms of heaven. People were drinking in the Holy Spirit like never before! A school teacher was healed of a long term sickness, and backs, necks and stomachs were healed! There was a great outpouring of prophetic revelation throughout the prayer lines.

During the meetings at Bay Community Church and New Life Vineyard, there was an outbreak of mass healings! On one particular night backs and blood disorders were healed as many people got touched by the presence of God.

At the meetings at New Life Vineyard, joy broke in, and as people put their hands into the glory cloud, people got miraculously healed - backs, knees and necks and many people were delivered from demonic oppression!

The team, made up mostly of students from our School of the Supernatural, also prayed for visitors to the healing rooms run by two of the host churches. They had an awesome experience of seeing people healed and delivered through their prayers!

November 2006 Crusades, Seminars and School of the Supernatural

Update from Benjamin Khati, Siliguri, March 2007

Malbazar Crusade and seminars results are still coming to us and Pastors Thapa, Uttam and Isubim have shared that in their area they have started 13 new family fellowships with the help of some local evangelists! In this way there are many new churches which are coming up in Dooars. Please pray, we want many dedicated leaders and pastors to be fully involve in this new church planting movements and we believe that in every village and town there will be a equipped leaders and churches. I believe this is possible in India in our partnership work.
With Love and Prayer, Benjamin

April 2006 Crusades

As in previous trips, we saw thousands saved, and hundreds of healings as Revival Fires held a crusade in Binnaguri, West Bengal, and taught a School of the Supernatural in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, together with our mission team of fifteen people from our European Supernatural Training Centre and elsewhere in the UK.

For four days, thousands gathered to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, as Trevor preached and signs and wonders followed! The deaf heard, the blind saw and the paralysed walked as Trevor and the team prayed under the hot Indian sun. We received 14,000 competed response cards and know that many more thousands made a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The team were overjoyed to see God healing through their hands, and to participate in bringing the good news of salvation, healing and deliverance to this whole area!

"I never thought that I would be praying for sick people and seeing God healing them through me. It was such an honour to heal the sick and I know now I can do this through Him, wherever He wants me to, in any part of the world." Chris, from the European Supernatural Training Centre

In Gangtok, we saw over 300 people entering new levels of the revelatory realms during the five day School of the Supernatural, with an increasing flow of visions and prophetic words during the whole School. On the last evening, one person after another came forward to share the visions that God had been giving them during the meeting that night! We continued to see healings during this School also.

We never tire of seeing our amazing God break through into the lives of so many people, and heaven invading earth in healing, deliverance, visions and prophetic words. Praise you, God, for all you have done - you are an awesome God!

Revival Fires in Ukraine, September 2006.

First stop was Kirovograd where Trevor led a School of the Supernatural. The church was not the most beautiful from the outside but was vibrating on the inside!

Worship was awesome - there is something about Ukrainian worship that is quite different - I am still not entirely sure what it is but it is probably their enthusiasm and eagerness to party!

We were warmly welcomed by the local church and Trevor was left in no doubt about how the local pastor felt.

Throughout our time in Kirovograd, prophetic words flowed freely and Trevor was able to reveal destiny to many - here he is speaking to the worship leader who is being held up by the Pastor and his wife.

Each time Trevor had words for people he also demonstrated the way that the prophetic flows.

Later in the week many of us were able to experience the honey presence for the first time - I don't think I have seen so many people affected - including one member of the team who doesn't like honey!

Trevor also showed what happens when there is Open Heaven and you come under the Portal of Chortle!

Incidentally, this was not confined inside the church and Trevor was able to speak to three young men in the pizza restaurant after the meeting! No one was safe.

Those attending the school were hungry for impartation and anointing - on the last day there was also commissioning.

The team were also involved in soaking, praying and speaking prophetically to people.

There were also times of healing and my favourite was a small boy (about 7, I guess) who was deaf in his left ear and who was able to hear in that ear after prayer. His grandparents spoke English and meeting them afterwards was a real treat.

On the way home we travelled back to Kiev via Kharkov, which involved two overnight train journeys. We were there for just two evening meetings and a leaders meeting - was it worth it? You had better believe it.

Once again worship was full strength, double espresso!

On the first evening Trevor had a word for people that had been overtaken by discouragement. Joined by the team, he called those that had responded to come up on to the stage for prayer - 2 ˝ hours later they were still patiently coming up on to the stage.

Incidentally, the lady in the centre of the picture was the carer for the apartment for unaccompanied men on the team and produced a series of amazing and wonderful meals - it reminds me to say thank you to all those who worked so hard to look after us both in Kharkov and Kirovograd.

Kharkov also provided an opportunity for members of the team to visit a young woman who had experienced lung cancer and was suffering from cancer related fatigue. This turned out to be the most amazing experience and already we are hearing of major changes. You are amazing, God.

Once again, I have to say thank you to Trevor and all at Revival Fires for allowing me to partner on a mission trip. It's India in three weeks and, sadly, too late for you to join us but why not log on to revivalfires.org.uk and see what is happening next year?

See you in Ukraine,
John Wright

South Africa Mission Report - February 2006

In February 2006, we visited South Africa for the first time on a Revival Fires Missions Trip. We really enjoyed seeing the country and were made to feel very welcome by the people we met. We also made new friends, who we are sure we will see again soon.

Lots of great things happened but we will focus on 2 events:
1/ We visited a school in a Township with 30 children that is run by and in a local church. We were able to play with the children and join in learning a new song. We met the staff and we found that they teach in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa, 2 local languages. When we took digital pictures and videos we were able to show them to the children right away and they really enjoyed seeing themselves.

Some areas in the Townships are safer than others and the people there are poor. Although we were able to move freely when we visited and we did not see any trouble, we were told that this can't be taken for granted all of the time. The front door is barred and padlocked for safety. In their playtime, the children have to play in the same room that they have classes as it's not safe to play outside. One of the school objectives is to raise finance to put up a fence along the side of the school, so that it would be safe for the children to play outside. There is a combination of God moving in this place and yet at the same time, a wariness that it is not generally a safe place and you need to be cautious for your safety.

2/ We also joined a weekly visit for some of the people living in another local Township, taking food parcels for some of the people there. One of the people in a church buys and delivers weekly food parcels to several families in the township. The families range from people who are poor and can't afford to eat properly to a grandmother who is caring for her young grandchildren because their mother died of AIDS. Another is a single mum who has AIDS who needs to eat well as part of her treatment.

When we visited the Township for this project, we were able to see different areas. The housing varied in the different areas but was generally a wooden hut. Some had an electricity supply and some did not. Again, our guide explained that some areas in the township were safer than others, but we did not see any trouble. Communication was tricky, as most of the families did not speak any English. Some spoke Afrikaans and others spoke Causa, but we were able to communicate a little by hand gestures and smiles and with a few people who could speak some English.

The children were fascinated by our digital cameras and loved to see themselves on photos and videos. Everywhere that we went we had quite a crowd of children watching who wanted to join in. These 2 trips to the Townships were the most poignant for us. As we walked through the mass of tin shacks, it was hard to imagine that this is everyday life for so many people. We know that humanly the problems are possibly too great and that there are many reasons why things are the way that they are. It is however encouraging to see people doing what they can to help make some lives and situations better. More people doing what they can do as well, will help make more lives and situations even better still.

We believe that there have to be some solutions to these hard issues and that God can provide a way for change for the good!
