Michael & Julie Allen’s Biography
Michael & Julie were married in May 1998, four months later Julie asked Jesus to come into her life, which had an impact on their marriage. Her life was transformed as she experienced the powerful emotional and physical healing hand of the Lord, but Michael was untouched by the experience. More than that, much tension, misunderstanding, and miss communication ensued as they both sought to come to terms with the massive changes in their lives.
It was not until September 2004 that Michael gave his life to Jesus, as a result valuable kingdom principles were learnt that Julie shares in her book ‘When Your Partner Doesn’t Know Jesus’ published by New Wine Ministries, in which she sensitively explores an issue that many believers are facing.
In 2001 Julie began the ministry Be Who You Can Be in Christ, after the Lord told her to encourage, teach and train His children, joined by Michael they both travel throughout UK and East Africa spreading their encouraging message & teaching.
Be Who You Can Be in Christ is flexible in its approach, churches have received the teaching in five short seminars or in a short conference format.
Be Who You Can Be in Christ encourages people to take positive steps towards being who they can be now and in the future by:
Gaining personal confidence by understanding who you are in Christ, know His promises for your life in Him.
Recognise and release your true potential, make a difference!
Taking positive steps in changing your own self-limiting beliefs.
Assess your current interpersonal skills; plan to improve your relationships.
Manage emotions effectively.
How to communicate assertively – being honest with yourself and others, having the ability to say directly what you want to say, you need or you feel but not at the expense of other people. James 5 v 12b - Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Displaying the attitudes, skills & knowledge of an ambassador in the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
