Interview with Samuel Lane: Lead Singer of The Burn Band, Worship Leader, Songwriter, Musician.

How did you get into music?
I gave up football when I was 12, and had loads of time on my hands as I used to play 6-8 hours a day. I took up guitar lessons (which I took for 4-5 years) and started writing songs from day one. I’ve always loved music and my 3 sisters and I used to sing all the time together at home.
Who inspired you to make music, rather than just listen to it?
Kevin Prosch was a massive influence, he led me into worship that I hadn’t experienced anywhere else before, and it got me thinking it should always be like this. So started my ‘divine discontent’, which was my main motivation. I love listening to music, loads of stuff. I’m really enjoying Mumford & Sons right now, Radiohead are geniuses, Kings of Leon… Anything that’s good and fresh sounding.<

Danny and Sheri are the Pastors of Family Life at Bethel Church in Redding, California. They both serve as guest lecturers in Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. Danny oversees the Transformation Centre and Schools of Transformation. He is an extraordinary communicator with gifted insight. We are excited to have Danny and Sheri make their first visit to Dudley for our ‘Love Revolution’ conference in March 2010. We have been so blessed by Bethel Church!

Shawn Bolz is passionate about seeing both individuals and groups become the best version of themselves. Shawn has been a pioneer in ministry, including the prophetic movement, since he was in his teens. His focus is on intimacy with God, creativity through entertainment, and social justice. Shawn’s unique style of speaking and coaching, accompanied with his passionate perspective on the issues of love, creativity, and justice, have taken him around the world to meet with churches, schools, entertainers, and world leaders. Shawn lives in Los Angeles where he is involved as talent for the entertainment industry and is the Senior Pastor of Expression58 Church. Shawn is also the author of several books including Keys to Heaven’s Economy. We cannot wait to hear the message that Shawn has to bring to our ‘Love Revolution’ conference in March this year!

Kim Walker-Smith is a joyful, radical lover of Jesus! She lives to worship Him with every ounce of her being. One of the greatest desires of her heart is to see God's kingdom and power manifest for people to be set free, healed and radically changed as the encounter God in worship. Kim currently leads worship and pastors the worship team at Bethel Church in Redding, California. She has quickly become one of the strongest voices for the current youth movement. She is a passionate worship leader with an anointing to bring an entire generation into an encounter with God. All of those who are in a worship service led by Kim will catch her contagious love to worship.

Elizabeth is a worship leader and loves to see the Bride of Christ be raised up in worship that is founded in spirit and truth. Elizabeth has also produced a soaking CD entitled “Every Season of my Soul” which has helped many access a new place of raw honesty and transparency before the Lord in worship.

Chè Ahn and his wife, Sue, are the Senior Pastors of Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California. Chè is the founder and president of Harvest International Ministry, a worldwide apostolic network of over 5000 churches in over 35 nations with the common vision of “Changing Lives, Transforming Cities, and Discipling Nations.” Chè received his M. Div. and D. Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary and has played a key role in many strategic local, national and international outreaches, including being the CEO of The Call, a youth prayer movement. Che is author of numerous books including, Say Goodbye to Powerless Christianity, When Heaven Comes Down, How To Pray For Healing, Fire Evangelism and Close Encounters of the Divine Kind. He travels extensively throughout the world, bringing apostolic insight with a Holy Spirit impartation of revival, healing and evangelism. Chè is also the host of the “Holy Spirit Today Show” that is aired in over 215 nations. We are honoured to have Chè return to Dudley for a second time.
